To be hailed as The Best in the World of any food is an incredible validation. Kate Reid, founder of Lune Croissanterie, has heard this multiple times, including from New York Times writer Oliver Strand who wrote glowingly about her “exceptionally flaky pastries” that “may be the finest you will find anywhere in the world”.
This, in part, explains the queues outside the door of her bakeries. Queues of fans who adore her incredible baked goods, many who have travelled far and wide to experience the world’s best croissant. Kate recently took MFAWF on a tour of her amazing cube bakery and shared the secrets of her world-famous croissants with CEO Anthea Loucas Bosha. Join the tour on Instagram here.
Lune also featured as a Melbourne food expert in a Delicious magazine campaign. Check out the story on the creation and success of Lune Croissant with founder Kate Reid. We regularly bring our guests to experience Lune and wow what a bakery! An amazing example of the quality people who contribute to making Melbourne the best food city in Australia.
