Champagne Dining with Max Allen

This exclusive champagne dining experience is held in the gorgeous surrounds of the European’s private dining room with views over Parliament house and Spring Street.
Renowned drinks journalist Max Allen will host this wine tasting of the world’s most famous sparklings – French champagne, Spanish Cava, Italian Prosecco and home-grown releases.
Then settle in to enjoy a menu by executive chef Ian Curley and his team. Max will be on-hand to introduce the wine and food matches. A wonderful champagne dining event that will be remembered for years to come.

A three-hour package of sparkling, red and white wine will be served plus beer, mineral water and soft drinks.
Max Allen is wine columnist for The Financial Review, wine editor of Australian Gourmet Traveller, and a regular contributor to wine magazines around the world. In 1999 Max’s first book, Red and White: Wine Made Simple, won the prestigious André Simon Memorial Award.
He was the first Australian to be named Wine Communicator of the Year by the International Wine and Spirit Competition; and at the 2011 Louis Roederer Wine Writers Awards in London he won the Best Wine Book trophy for The Future Makers: Australian Wines for the 21st Century.
